Refund Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
If Exactick is not for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. No questions asked.
We would rather you found out before paying, which is why the Free tier is a real, unlimited-time version of the app with every feature working. But testing on your own data, over the period you actually care about, is the only way to know — so the guarantee exists to make that risk-free. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. The Core purchase — 14-day money-back guarantee
The one-time Core purchase (and the founding-member price) is covered for 14 days from the date of purchase. You do not need a reason, and you do not need to have used the app. Refunds are issued in full, in the currency you paid, back to the original payment method.
2. Pro — cancel any time
Pro is a subscription and you can cancel it whenever you like. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund unused time by default. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend — and you have not made substantial use of Pro in that new period — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
Cancelling or refunding Pro never affects your Core licence. Core is a separate, permanent purchase, and your saved sessions and statistics are untouched either way.
3. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout and, if you have it, your Stripe receipt number or order ID. That is all we need. We aim to reply within two business days, and we submit the refund as soon as we have confirmed the order — normally the same day we reply. Once submitted, your bank or card issuer typically takes 5–10 business days to show the money back on your statement; that part is out of our hands.
You do not have to explain yourself. If you do tell us what went wrong, it genuinely helps us fix it — but it is not a condition of the refund.
4. What happens to your licence and your data
When a purchase is refunded, the licence key from that purchase is deactivated. Exactick then returns to the Free tier, which keeps working indefinitely with the three-month data window.
A refund does not delete anything. Your imported data, sessions, trades and statistics live in your browser’s storage on your own machine. We have no access to them and cannot remove them; they stay exactly where they are, and CSV export remains available on the Free tier. To delete your email address from our records as well, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Your statutory rights
This guarantee is offered voluntarily and sits on top of the rights you already have by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation for digital purchases, that right applies in full and is unaffected by anything on this page. Where the two differ, whichever is more favourable to you is the one that applies. Nothing here limits your rights in respect of goods or services that are faulty or not as described.
6. Fair use of the guarantee
The guarantee is meant for people deciding whether Exactick is right for them. We reserve the right to decline a refund, and to deactivate the licence, where a purchase is fraudulent, where the licence has been shared or resold in breach of our Terms of Service, or where the same person repeatedly buys and refunds. Genuine requests are never refused on these grounds.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee, takes weeks, and cannot be reversed once decided — whereas a refund from us is faster, simpler, and unconditional inside the guarantee window. Any licence associated with a chargeback is deactivated.
8. Note on who processes the refund
Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase and executes refunds on our instruction. It does this through its Link service, which is the name that appears on your statement and on your receipt, and it sends the refund notification to you directly. You may also contact Stripe using the details on your receipt, but writing to [email protected] is the fastest route.
