Please read this page before you use Exactick. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Educational and research use only
Exactick is a simulator. It exists so that you can practise, study and research trading against historical data. It is provided for educational and research purposes only. It is not a trading system, not a signal service, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Any decision you take with real money is entirely your own.
2. Simulated results are hypothetical
Every result Exactick produces — every fill, every profit or loss, every statistic — is hypothetical. It is what would have happened under the assumptions of the simulation, on data you supplied, with the benefit of hindsight. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations, and they differ from live trading in ways no simulator can remove:
- No real money is at risk, so the simulation cannot reproduce how you would behave under real pressure — discipline, hesitation and fear are not modelled.
- Your order does not affect the market. In a simulation your order never consumes liquidity, moves the price, or competes in a real order queue.
- Execution is approximated. Slippage, requotes, partial fills, latency, liquidity gaps, weekend and holiday gaps, broker-specific spread widening, stop-out and margin-call handling, and broker-side rejections are modelled only to the extent described in the documentation — or not at all. Your broker’s prices, spread, commission, swap and execution rules will differ from what you configure here.
- Hindsight is unavoidable. A strategy tuned until it fits a stretch of past data usually stops working on new data.
- The data is not ours and is not guaranteed. You supply the historical price data yourself, from third-party sources. It may be incomplete, misaligned in time, filtered, revised, or simply wrong; it reflects one liquidity provider’s view of the market, not your broker’s. Exactick replays what you give it — it cannot make bad data good.
Past performance, whether real or simulated, is not indicative of future results. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
3. Not a broker, not an adviser
Exactick does not connect to any broker, exchange, liquidity provider or trading account, and it cannot place, modify or cancel a real order. It holds no client funds. We are not a broker-dealer, an exchange, a bank, a money transmitter, a portfolio manager, or a registered or licensed investment adviser in any jurisdiction. Nothing on this website, in the application, or in its documentation is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. If you need advice, consult a professional who is licensed where you live.
4. Trading risk warning
Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage magnifies losses as much as gains. You can lose some or all of your deposited funds, and with some products you can lose more than you deposit. Before trading you should consider your objectives, your level of experience and your risk appetite, and never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
The availability and legality of these products vary by country, and access is restricted or prohibited in some of them. Complying with the law that applies to you is your responsibility.
5. No liability
You use Exactick at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any trading or investment loss, or any other loss or damage, arising from your use of the Service or from any reliance on its results. The limits and the consumer-law carve-outs in section 11 of our Terms of Service apply to this page as well.
